NWTKD awarded ‘Club Mark’ by Preston City Council
The NWTKD has been awarded the ‘Club Mark’ accreditation by the Preston City Council. “The award is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards. It raises expectations in club management, equity and ethics, child protection, and competition.” See the Preston City Council website for further information.

NWTKD Winter Newsletter
Happy new year to all students. The Winter Newsletter is now available from your instructor. On the reverse you will see the calendar for the year. Please be aware that we now have 3 SBTs before each Black Belt Examination. The first is for black belts and the second is for blue belts and above. A number of competitions have been identified for those wishing to try national and international events – you will begin to see these on our website event calendar to the right. If you are interested in attending any of these then please send us a message via the ‘send’ box below this post. We can then make sure that the competition co-ordinator keeps you informed of the details.

Description: Grading examination begins at 12.30 for red and black belts. Coloured belts commence at 1.30pm. Please be prompt. Don’t forget your sparring gear and licence.

Good luck to everyone taking part in the competition this Sunday.
The competition starts at 1:00pm at Fulwood Leisure Center, and is open to all grades and ages!
This is a special event, and for a good cause! We will be raising money for the Madison Allan appeal. For more information visit www.themadisonallanappeal.org.uk

New Website!

Instructors can sign up for accounts to post their own pictures and articles, and can make posts announcing news such as time-table changes or new classes.
