Thoroughly enjoyed the Mini Comp on 28th April. I thought it was really well organised and everyone was really good. The standard was high. Even though I didn't win anything I still feel it gave me a good boost of confidence in preparation for Black Belt Grading in June.

Thanks!

Full support from all Instructors please. Encourage all your black belts to at least have a go at patterns. For Black belt the lowest pattern you can do is Chung Mu - so get practising! Thanks

Keep you eyes peeled for the competition on the 28th April at Saint Augustines in Preston. Lots of categories including a black belt one; see your instructors for more details.
Also the Mondays class at Ashton is now 7-8.30pm and includes competition sparring. The Thursday classes at West View is 7-8.30pm and also includes competition sparring same price as normal.
Get yourself down practise sparring and pattern work.
See you there

Martin. We're glad that you are enjoying the training with NWTKD. Tae Kwon Do does not teach the use of ancient weapons; it's a matter of looking around for something that suits you. Now that you are at senior belt level there is much more to learn. So just be cautious of allowing time to do the things you need to do. Otherwise you can easily end up being a jack of trades and the master of none! Good luck with your training.

Thoroughly been enjoying my training with NWTKD for just over 16 months now, reaching my blue belt so far but having to take time off due to having a left hip replacement. Looking forward to starting up again with my training ASAP but was wondering if there are any ancient weapon training that anyone could get involved in through the club?? An avenue I would be most interested in going down? Many thanks
