Breaking Techniques

Breaking techniques will play a more prominent part in the examinations. The focus will be on the technique and accuracy rather than the power/thickness of the boards. Yellow belts will be taught side and turning kick breaking, Green belts spinning side kick, Blue belts reverse turning kick and Red belt will be expected to do variations of these. Hand attack breaking will also be introduced. If anyone is interested in purchasing breaker boards and/or a collapsible board holder for club or personal use, then please contact your instructor.
